Restaurants and Entertainment

There are several restaurants, pubs and supermarkets just a five minutes stroll to the sea front near the new marina. These among others include a steakhouse, a Mexican and a Thai restaurant.

San Blas commercial centre which is a 10-15 minute walk away, has various bars and restaurants including: Chinese, Indian, Canarian, Peruvian, Italian, Thai, or English. Here you can find various shops, including a supermarket, car hire and trips to all parts of the Island. A local church is also found in the San Blas centre.

Bowling Information

Winter Gardens boast its own eight lane all weather bowling green with floodlit evening bowling. A bowling shop with shoe, bowl hire and tuition facilities are available.

Golf Information

Golf del Sur's 27-hole championship course is within ten minutes walk and is open to all. The club's facilities include club hire, trolley and buggy hire, an English speaking professional coach, driving range, putting green and bookable tee times. There is a well-stocked sports shop and a restaurant. Mini-golf and tennis are also available. Other courses on the island include Amarilla, Las Americas, Adeje, Real club de Tenerife, Los Palos par 3 and La Roseleda par 3.

 

Local Interest

Los Abrigos is a historical fishing village with fresh seafood restaurants lining the harbour. Every September Los Abrigos' awe-inspiring fiesta can be seen paying tribute to the patron saint of fishermen.

Santa Cruz, the capital is one of Spain's busiest ports. Here can be found the grand 'Carnival' each spring, where the whole area becomes an enormous party for two weeks. Fabulous shopping facilities are available here.

Family Fun

Parc des Aguillas (Jungle Park) - zoo park featuring birds of prey and exotic bird displays, Siberian tigers and a bob sleigh ride.

Aqua Park - Water Park featuring rides, flumes, children's area and dolphin show.

Mini golf, Go Karting and fairground attractions are all nearby.
